Growing Potatoes?
Question:This summer I want to grow some potatoes because I heard they losen up the dirt and nurtish it. Now next year I will want to plant some flowers so if the potatoes grow do I just pull them. I just am worried that the potatoes will kill my flowers for next year. If I am wrong on how potatoes losen up the soil please tell me what plant or flower or anything that grows would help me on my soil.
If you also have any tips on how to earn more points. Its so hard to get to level 2!. Well Please answer. I will do best answer on whoever give me the best :)

don't waste your time with the potatoes. you will have to dig them up!
right now begin adding organic matter to the soil. dig a small hole and put your potato peelings in. next dig a hole and put whatever other kitchen veggie/fruit scraps you have in...and so on. in the fall rake lots of leaves over the future flower bed. by next spring you will have some really nice soil.
to get your points do not ask questions, but answer every one you can. you'll be surprised how fast you can get to the next level.

it's nice that you want to grow potatos.
my grandmother an d my aunties on my daddy's side of the family are gardners.
for one don't fertlize them too much you'll kill them, and water them i would say once every week if it's dry and once every two weeks if it's normal.
