Gardeners: How can I keep birds from eating all the new fruit on my dwarf fruit trees?

Question:

Answers:
If the trees are small enough that you can manage it: netting.

A net tent might help if the trees are small enoughbut you don't want the sun blocked out.
GoodLuck ! ! !
Hang disposable aluminum pie pans in the trees. The birds are scared of the movement and the sun's reflection.

I hope this helps!
Tie empty plastic grocery bags on the limbs. Hopefully this will scare off the offending birds.

Maybe you could buy some rubber snakes tie them on the branches.
You can buy netting at your local nursery but it makes picking the fruit a pain. You can also buy scare tape on any Ed Hume seed rack it is a shiny red metallic tape that blows in the slightest wind and also reflects the sun, it will keep the birds away . Good luck!
Bird netting is really the only effective way. The " scary" things rarely last more than a few days before the birds get used to them. I have seen birds sitting on top of plastic owls. That is one of the nice things about dwarf trees, you can use netting. Not so easy on a full size cherry.
