My apple tree has some kind of infestation. Can anyone help?

Question:The leaves have insects on them. Some of the leaves are curling and rotting. Has anyone had this before and how did they get rid of the problem?

Answers:
i use this stuff from bayeradvanced! it works wonderfully and so far i've not had one problem that i had last year! good luck

This is the time of the year when it should be sprayed with a mite killer. Do it now or there'll be no fruit this year. Your local garden centre will advise.
Remove an infested branch and take it to a local nursery or greenhouse. They can probably help you. I am sure you'll have to spray it with something.

If you can't do this, www.gardensalive.com sells a lot of garden help products and usually has pics of different pests and diseases you could compare yours to.

Good luck.
Sounds like one of the Aphid family, possibly greenfly/blackfly. If you use insecticide, be sure it is safe for use on fruit trees. Care must be taken with pesticides and food plants. Trees under stress will be more vulnerable to pests.
LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY DONT HACK AT THE POOR TREE IT HAPPENS 2 ME EVERY YEAR AND I DILUTE WASHING UP LIQUID AND SPRAY ALL THE LEAVES
THEN I REMOVE THE TERRIBLE 1S
THEN PUT MY HOSE ON JET AND BLAST THE TREE UNTILL ITS DEBUGED
