Too watered tomatoes?

Question:For the past week we have had horrible rainfall, and I am afraid my tomatoes are dying. My leaves are turning yellow and we've just had so much rain. Is there anything I can do?

Answers:
No, all you can do is wait for the sun to come out and give them a chance to dry out a little. Hopefully everything will turn out and you will get some fruit. I'm in the same boat. Today is the first day in about 30 that I haven't seen rain.

Send some of that rain here.
I think we had 2 inches in the last 5 weeks.
My tomato plants are still alive but they are only about 12 - 18 inches tall.
I suppose you could try digging ditches along the rows so the water pools in them and dig them out toward the edge of the garden so it runs off better.
Pour the water out of the tomato plants if their in a pot and bring them into your house so they can get sun but not be drowned if its planted you can put up a temmparaly "roof" dig and put some wood by the tomatoes and nail paieces together and put a plastic covering over it.
pray for some sunshine and dry weather we are having the same problem in louisiana .maybe also you could try to drain the water out if you can
