My cucumbers are not turning green they are going from a greyish color to yellowish, WHY?

sounds like they are overwatered
sounds like too much water. are they mushy? also, they might be affected by a fungus, again due to overwatering. don't let them lie in overwet dirt either. try again with a new crop, but change locations.
In years of cucumbers I have never seen greyish. Not long after the blossom comes off they are little green things iwth little pimple-liek bumps. They get bigger and stay green and the bumps turn into black pointed stickers. Eventually they are full sized and ready to pick. If they are left too long they will start to turn yellow or white (especially on the underside).
Grey sounds like a problem I have never seen) and it is not a good sign.
too much water& lack of neutrients. pick them off and discard. put some miracle grow on them and keep them cooler by putting some landscaping materials around them to help them grow.
