Two week. Waiting less then that will desloves the protective layor of the seeds and the seeds wont grow. Waiting longer is fine but you might then have compitition from weeds finding the fertile soil.


A couple of mowings should be enuf. Keep in mind if you used a product like Scotts fertilizer with Halts that is made to control crabgrass it will also not allow your grass seed to germinate so seeding is useless.
