How do you trim monkey grass?

Question:I want to trim it right so it'll look good

Answers:
you should have trimmed it in late winter or very early spring. Just wait til next year.

I agree with the first answer. I cut mine all the way down to the ground in mid to late February. You want to do this so the new leaves will have plenty of room to come up. If you try to trim now, you will end up with a bunch of chopped leaves. Wait until next winter, but no later than late February. Good Luck!
