JFK tea rose?
Question:Last year it was great, this year it is producing imature flowers and small leaves, what am I doing wrong

Did you prune it back to 5 or 6 main stalks in early spring? If not, you need to do so. Also, you need to be fertilizing monthly and treating for bugs and fungus'. Go get the Bayer Advanced All-in-One - you mix it with water and pour around the base of the bush and it soaks it up. Prune it back heavily after your next flush of blooms and see if that doesn't help.

it's most likely bugs! spray it down with some bug spray the add some bayeradvanced rose and flower all in one care! good stuff! ur rose should recover nicely!
Probably the air is getting so bad, even plants refuse to breathe it in..lol.
Is it the same rose, probably getting old...or need some nutrients in the soil.
