I have recently turfed my garden, the majority is great but there are 2 or 3 yellow patches?

Question:It has been laid for just over a week and has been well watered, can you advise what has caused this and how best to repair it?

Answers:
never mind the normal fertiliser try and find some horse sh1t, put it in a sock and then place the sock in your watering can and fill with water and then spray your lawn

This is normal. Keep watering it.
Do you have any pets, if you do and they wee on the grass it will turn it yellow, you need to just keep watering it... good luck
Animals have acid in their urin,if you don't block your plants or grass they can leave yellow or it looks like you plants are dieing
hi,

this happens often on new turf possible reasons are,

dogs peeing in area,

something under the turf such as large stone or concrete,

its had a hit with weedlkiller
Grass is one of the hardiest plant known to man. I would say its animals urinating on your lawn. If you have a dog there is a tablet you can buy for the dog im not sure what the pill does all i know that it works. I wouldn't worry about the yellow patches, it will soon come back even if it dies off. Try a small and not too strong dose of fertiliser
