Can you eat "Russian Mammoth" sunflower seeds?


Question:Are there particular sunflower seeds you can and cant eat? Somewhere I read "if your going to eat the seeds make sure you get confectionary sunflowers" but they didnt say anymore than that, and I dont know if the source was reliable or anything. Anyone know?

sure you can eat them...do you grow your own.? I would bakethem first for about half hour on like 250 degrees..
