Strawberry plant?

Question:I have just bought a strawberry plant in a hanging basket, it has one strawberry on it at the moment and i have been giving it tomato feed once a week. Shall i leave it in th basket hanging or move in somewhere else?

Answers:
Well, a strawberry plant will do fine in a hanging basket.

however, they produce runners that you would normally seperate as new plants for next year, so you can rotate your older plants out.

In a basket you couldn't do that so would find it difficult to grow your plant number. You shoudl look to replace the plants every 3-5 years to ensure you get a good crop.

Leave it for a week then replace them in other vase.. bigger is better. On the ground soil is the best.
strawberry plants
sun light must reach the strawberry even just 2 hours a day.
leave it in the basket -they look awful in the garden all straggely and get eaten by slugs
