I'm about to buy a pretty unique hummingbird feeder that resembles a big windchime ~but do you??
Question:think it'll attract hummingbirds just about daily?
I live in new york state/sort of in the countryside
[haven't seen any hummingbirds here or rarely]
BTW, this nice feeder supplies about SIX sm. containers of liquid for them :o)
will it attract them like mad?

you will be surprised and amazed! you will have the hummers fighting to get a drink from your beautiful feeder...not that they care that it is beautiful.
i lived in massachusetts and had three feeders for the hummers and enjoyed watching them. hope you enjoy yours as much.
edited to add: i had a large wind chime next to two of my feeders. the birds were not bothered by them.
I would do some research before buying a windchimed feeder that big. Maybe they don't like windchimes and if they did is it metal crystal or wood (climate flowering water source and trees is very important to know)
I think it will depend on your birds. Hummers do like to have some where to purch while feeding. At least mine do. They tend to vist my feeders with perchs more than the ones without.
They also seem to really like the feeder with the big yellow flowers that they drink out of.
They also like to perch on the wisteria vines arround my feeders, so location of the feed can come into play too.
So it really may depend on what the feeder is actually constructed like.
But all you can do is put it out and keep it full and see what happens.

It sounds very nice. I'm sure it should attract the hummers. They are fun to watch. Put some bright red flowers close to them Hummingbirds like bright colored flowers.I'm sure that when they figure out its there, you will have them coming and going at most times of the day. Good luck
