How do i get rid of weeds permanently? My lawn is full of them!?
Question:I don't want to use chemicals. Is there an easier/affordable/organic way other than sitting there pulling each weed out?

A great organic, low cost method is to purchase a gallon jug of white vinegar. (you can also buy a stronger form at most co-ops, but standard grocery store vinegar works too). Mix in two tablespoons of liquid dish soap. The dish soap helps the vinegar to adhere to the weeds/plants you are trying to kill. Put this in a spray bottle. You will want to apply the spray in the morning on a day when it is going to be hot and sunny. This works quite well, is safe for pets, children and the environment. To add a booster for tough weeds, you can mix in a cup of plain white salt.
You won't get rid of weeds permanently. The little so-and-sos always find a way. But you can buy a herbal weedkiller from your garden centre. I don't know what you call it there? But ask garden center.You can also get a gadget that has steam coming out, and steam kills them. And you also can buy a flame thrower to kill weeds. But you will kill grass to.I personally use a chemical selective weedkiller, and that is fine. Good Luck!
first grow your lawn taller, spot kill the weeds with a flame weeder, if it's safe, strong vinagar will kill anything that's too strong for the other merhods.

If you take care of the lawn, it will choke the weeds out. Fertilize your lawn at least 4 times per year and water on a regular basis. Dont water too much though..some grass types need more then others. Organic remedies work well, but take time to show results. If you are going to go organic, you must establish a plan and stick to it.
