Is there a way to kill bamboo?

Question:The previous owners planted bamboo outside of a window for shade. I have cut it, pulled up roots, sprayed it, tilled the area, you name it and it comes back. Is there anything that will kill this stuff once and for all?

Thanks.

Answers:
Monsanto Round-up or Ortho Brush-B-Gone will kill it and there are probably other less widely known brands of herbicides that will be equally as effective. Generally, the bamboo must be at least a foot tall for maximum effectiveness.

Good luck

you obviously have'nt been able to uproot all shoots from the area. try digging for morebamboo nodes. i am sure there are still nodes waiting to give out new shoots.
