If you found it in your yard use it for your yard. It was there in the first place, why not put it back there?

Any Idea who's been tresspassing in your back yard? I'd hold on to it and not say anything, If someone comes around asking if any one found the money, chances are it belongs to them, Give it back, but first find out what they were doing in your back yard. If nobody comes around in a week , it's yours. It was in your yard, case closed.
keep it, it's not like you can return it to anyone. spend it on something nice.
Who had access to your back yard? Friends or anyone who walks thru? If you had friends back there recently, notify them that you found some money (not found a bill or how much), if one of them lost it, they should be able to tell you it was a $100 single bill. You can check with your bank if it is real. If it is not counterfeit (which you would then give to police) and none of your friends can identify - - it is yours. You did all that could possibly be done.
If I were you I would spend half of it on myself, and the other half I would buy a beautiful fruit tree and plant it in your back yard . That way the money that you found will never stop increasing in wealth by giving you fresh fruit to eat. Also a great way to give back to the universe in witch you found it. ie ( environment)
Go look for more.
Plant it and grow some more.
i would keep it for a few days and see if anyone asks if u found it if not consider it a blessing from god and spend it
