Is it true bunnies love carrots?

Question:

Answers:
Bugs Bunny wasn't lying -- rabbits do like a good carrot. However, the Nature Trail, a site that specializes in all things bunny, explains that carrots should be given to pet rabbits only as a "treat." In other words, rabbits can't live on carrots alone.

So, what should a rabbit eat? According to The Adopt a Pet site, rabbits dig grass hay and should be given it "free choice." So, if they eat all they're given, you gotta give 'em more.

If you're considering adopting a rabbit, consider talking to a local vet first. They can clue you in to the challenges of caring for these buck-toothed creatures.
