How often does buffalo grass (Buchloe dactyloides) have to be watered?

Question:How often do you water it? to get it established and then thereafter?

Answers:
never really unless your area is experiencing extreme drought. it grows very slowly when its dry though so id water it a bit when trying to establish it.

I don't know why you would want to grow this, as the story goes ... it's so tough that even the buffalo won't eat it. After it's established you should just let Mother Nature water it.
