How to plant a mature palm tree?

Question:I got a palm tree from a friends empty lot, it is about 10 ft tall. I would like to know what are the best ways to plant it, and protect it,

you want yo dig a hole 2x the size of you bulb or base of the tree, this will allow you to place the tree easily. once the tree is in place replace dirt tap dirt down, and water the tree, make sure you water, if you feel like using fertilizer go for it
