No, I transplant annuals and perennials through out the summer and they all make it fine. Keep them watered and best to do so on a cooler or overcast day. Take as much soil with the move as possible.
you can transplant them, just cross your fingers for an indian summer so they can come to full maturity.
No! I agree with your other advice givers. The worst thing that could happen is they won't fully mature. It's worth a try. Look for the maturation dates and try one with a short season.
