How to care for a catcus?

Question:I received 3 small cacti for a gift, i put them all in a pot with some soil specifically for cacti. How often do I water them and is there anything else I need to do to maintain them?

Answers:
Depends on the type oc cactus but basically let the soil almost completely dry out between waterings.

Cacti are fairly self sufficient. Make sure that you water them once a week. As they grow larger, you may want to separate them into their own, bigger pots so their roots have plenty of room. Treat them how you treat your other plants. They should be fine.
Plenty of sun, and water once a month. Not alot of water.
keep them hot in the summer place the cactus on a sunny windowsill (for example) that gets sunlight most of the day water it sparingly and regularly
