Dark red Oxyalis houseplant has orange disease?

Question:I've had my oxblood oxalis for a month, it was flowering when I got it and flowers are still going. It's on a sunny windowledge. Recently I noticed that an orange mould is growing on the underside of many of the leaves. The plant seems okayish though. What is this and what can I do?

Answers:
Sounds like it's geting too much water and the plant has rust, a fungal disease. Water only when the surface is dry and never let water sit in the saucer. You can use a mild detergent/water solution to wipe the rust off the leaves. Be gentle--if it all doesn't come off the reduced watering schedule should help.

get it away fom the ledge... it'll fry being too close to the window. remember burning ants with a magnifing glass?. the same applies here! cut back water to once weekly! bayeradvanced makes some good stuff for ur problem, go check it out!
