Don't think there is one. you could give each plant a little copper ring round the stalk to deter slugs. the beauty of these are that they are reusable.
They do not grow tall enough.
They usually love the 1st four leaves after that I think the plant produces its own toughness or defence flavour to deter them. However you will then have to watch for the black fly.
The trick is to plant enough for all concerned, wildlife, insects and humans!!

Why not use a few pellets. What will they harm instead of a few snails and slugs,The risk is they eat the tips of the emerging beans so that they don't attain any height at all.
How tall are your slugs?
Mine are now about one and a half feet high and the slugs have gone in search of better pastures. Like my baby marrow plant, and sunflowers. After the rain they have such a great choice on the menu.
