Rabbit problems?

Question:anyone have any humane ideas of getting rid of rabbits they are tearing up my garden

Answers:
Predator urine, as another person suggested, or try sprinkling powdered cayenne pepper around their holes, and around your garden (on the soil and on the plants). The cayenne pepper has worked for me for keeping rabbits, cats, and squirrels out of my garden.

I have the same problem. The solution is simple. Either put up a fence they can not get through or plant enough for you and your friends.

I used both methods and it is working well. I put a small fence around the plants we both love and planted stuff for them to eat that I don't care about.
Shooting rabbits is great fun. Other than that live catch traps, but then if you then release them somewhere else then you run the risk of introducing mixy.
You can buy predator urine concentrate on-line and in some gardening stores. You put it on the applicators provided and stake them around your yard. The bunnies won't be so keen to feast on your garden if they think a fox or bobcat is around.
Also works great for deer.

Either that or get a dog. Mine would chase rabbits out of my yard without hurting them.
They're cute little stinkers (when they're not in your garden) aren't they? Try scattering some moth balls around the edge of your garden. Replace the moth balls as watering/rain will melt them away. The smell will be strong enough to keep the rabbits away but not so strong that it will bother you. Safe for any house pets that you may have.they'll stay away too. Best of luck to you.
