I use "ebb and flow" systems. My original used two five gallon pails, an aquarium heater and air pump, small fountain pump and a timer with multiple on-off cycles. Before I made the switch to HID, I used four shop lights lamped with four cool white and four warm white tubes. I didn't hang them above the plant as usual but mounted them vertically around the plant. RScott
