How do i kill elm trees without lots of manual work?

Question:They are all infesting my chainlink fence, i have got at least 20 of them? Please help!

if you wanna get rid of them totally it's manual work. If you just wanna kill them and leave their bodies there just use weedicide.

Apart from praying for an outbreak of Dutch elm disease, the only sure way is to cut them down and then poison the stumps. there are herbicides which can help kill trees but they take a long time and have to be pretty strong to work- i think manual labour is the only way to go.
