Leaves and branches being chewed off my tree?

Question:Based on the branches, they appeared to be chewed off. They fall in clumps because they are all chewed off in the same area. I would assume they are chewed off by squirrels, but I am not sure. This has never happened before and I haven't seen this anywhere else in our neighborhood. All of the branches are totally healthy. Does anyone know why?

Answers:
it's deer! u can buy repellants at ur local hardware store to combat them!

Are the leaves being chewed off also? With out more explaination of your problem it might be hard to get a good answer. If the branches look like they have been chewed off around the whole branch I would suggest leaf girddlers. They can be solved by picking up any of the branches that fall to the ground. Other than that more details are needed.
