My male Sago Palm has sprouted 2 reproductive cones at the same time. Is this normal?

Question:I've had this Sago Palm for 4 years now and every year it has only produced one reproductive cone until now. This year is has two.

Answers:
It is rare but the male sago palm can produce multiple cones at the same time (and many more than two). However, it is worth noting that without a female sago palm they have no value apart from aesthetic.

They are the pollinator for the female sago palm so that new palm seeds can be produced.

it's maturing! it'll get better as time goes on! oh, and yes it's perfectly normal!
I wouldn't worry with it, just carefully remove and replant yearlings in almost the same light /shade comparison elsewhere in the yard or pass the blessing on to a friend or relative..
well bless you .you are definitely the grandma or grandpa of twins, nothing is normal any more
