Question:Is there any plants or herbs i can plant to prvent snakes?

Answers:
Get the snakes in the front yard to encourage the backyard snakes to move.

Snakes are actually good for gardens. They keep the rodent/vermin population down. Please reconsider upsetting the natural balance of things.
MOTH BALLS.or ASK a P.C.tech 4 a product called SNAKE-AWAY.
We use a product called "snake away". It is granules you sprinkle around the edge of the yard. You can get it at lowes, home depo or hardware stores. We've used a couple of years now and so far, it's worked.

If you're trying to prevent the incursion of them in to the garden as a safety measure I would suggest a low voltage mini electric fence on you're borders but there realy is no way to gaurantee that they wont find a way through whilst hunting for prey ... planting things wont stop snakes
Lime. Sprinkle Lime around the perimeter of the yard. Snakes won't cross it. The Lime burns them.
moth balls work
Why do you want to get rid of snakes? WIthout them you would be living in a rat, mouse, mole, vole, squirrell, chipmunk, gopher, groundhog infested world. Your children would be dying from bubonic plague and you would asking how to get rid of rats. There is really no good reason to get rid of snakes.
