YES in fact my grandmother does it all the time! any ways. you just cut off a leave medium sized leaf and cut it diagonally. and put it in a pot and it should grow water it too
Yes Aloe is considered a succulant, all you need to do is cut a leaf off and place the new "start" into a pot with a soil that has good drainage(i know Wal-Mart carries cactus soil this is perfect), make sure to to keep the soil moist without drowing the plant and in a few weeks time the Aloe will root and you can care for it normally.
