Geraniums! How do you dead head them? Or rather -where?

Question:I can't seem to get them to re-blossom. Do you pinch them off at the bottom of the long stem or do you pinch off individual seedlings? Or what?

Answers:
snap the bloom off where it meets the next "branch" of the plant, so you'll take off the dead blooms and the long stem.
