Is now a good time to plant a hisbiscus?

Question:I live in Florida where it is 100% humidity now and 90+ degrees. Do they like direct or indirect sun? Thanks!

Answers:
Having lived in Ft. Lauderdale, I can say with a degree of certainty that fall or spring is the best time to put a hibiscus in the ground. You may be able to get away with putting it into a pot; just keep it in the shade for a few days.
I'd also recommend a spot with AM sun once you do put it in the ground.

great time to plant hibiscus and full sun. if left in a 2-3 gal pot
and put in ground, you can remove and put in shed or garage for over wintering. that way you can put back out the following spring after all danger of frost is gone.
