Can I save my orchid?

Question:My orchids blooms have fell off and there is only one leaf left. I'm not sure what happened to it it was doing great! Is there anyway I can bring it back, and if so what do I need to do?

Answers:
if it's been in the same pot for awhile( a few years) then re pot it to refresh the soil! keep it away from all windows cuz the sun will fry the poor little girl if it's too close, about three feet from the window is fine! no fertilizer, and water only once weekly! thats all, follow this and it should recover nicely!

Hi there,

I've just gotten into growing orchids and there are literally TONS of variables out there that will determine how best they will grow. From what type of orchid you have, to your growing conditions, etc... For the best advice out there, I'd post to this site:

It's an excellent forum with really knowledgable people who can help you out. (They'll be able to help you out quicker if you know what type of orchid you have, i.e. phalaenopsis, dendrobium, etc) Goodluck!
