How can i start a passion flower vine from a clipping?

Question:is it possible to start it from a clipping in say a water bottle with half submerged in water?

Answers:
I have had great success rooting passion flowers in plain, moist sand in the shade. Sand is great for rooting things, because it holds moisture, but has less bacterial and fungal organisms than soil, or water. Spring and Fall are good times to root things, when it's cooler.

hydroponics are one way to get the plant to take root. I reccomend you cut the end just below the node, dip it in rooting horemone and get it in some soil. If you can get this done, you will be about 85% successful at rooting. Good luck
