Vanishing Bees/any other Co. besides U.S. having this problem?

Question:

Answers:
England an large parts of Europe are reporting the same. I have also read, that while this can cause severe problems in pollination, it is a cycle that has occurred before.

Yes. At least Germany, Poland, Switzerland and Spain are reporting 25%- 80% declines in bees. Scary.
I'm in the U.S. and earlier this year I had tons of bees on my redbud tree flowers. Now, two months later, I have not seen many honey or bumble bees. Last year I noticed that there were not many bees, but this year there seems to be even fewer. I have seen more of what I call Yellow Monarch butterflies, more ants, more ants, more ants!
