How do you get a Plumeria to bloom? The plant is from a cutting that is less than a year old.?

Question:

Answers:
Some of my cuttings took about 2 years. And about 5 years to look good. They did not bloom until after the second dry season, the second time the leaves fell off. Keep wet in the summer, allow to dry out some in the winter. At this young age use a general 6 6 6 fertilizer. When several years old and about 10 ft high switch to bloom fertilizer. A small amount in the spring and mid summer. And a even smaller amount in the late fall. Worth the wait.

Mine took a couple of years to bloom. I put one cutting in the ground and find it blooms more reliably than the one in a pot. And the 4 small ones I have have not bloomed yet--cannot wait to see the colors! You could use some Bloom Booster fertilizer to stimulate it to bloom, but if it is a small cutting I do not think even that would work. They are usually a couple of feet tall when they bloom.
