My Squash are all bumpy? What is going on?


Question:Are they overripe? Are they sick? They are about 4 inches long and I am just wondering why they look bumpy.

there is an actual variety of squash called "bumpy squash".
are you sure they're not supposed to be that way? do the leaves look normal?

That is how they are. It sounds like they are perfect for picking now! That is, if they are a summer squash.
Some squash are bumpy and some smooth. I hope you don't have a smooth like zucchini that has cross pollinated with a gourd. That would be fun on the table.
