How much shade can green giant arborvitae take?


Question:i need to plant in a woods line for privacy. is it too shady? will they grow there?

Answers:
They will not tolerate full shade nor dry soils. Dry soils stunt this plant. Full sun to part shade, just not dense, full shade.
