Little black bugs on my spanish peant plant!?

Question:I got a spanish peanut plant just a few days ago, and now there are flying tiny bugs around it! They resemble black fruit flies with long legs! I am going to replant it soon, but I am not sure I should now, help!

Answers:
Hi there - are they crawling on the upper stem, main growth point, and the undersides of your leaves? If so, they are probably aphids. I just discovered some on my chrysanthemums and have been putting a hard stream of water on the plants to knock them off. I'll probably do this for 3 or 4 days straight. Here's a good site for you:

You'd probably be fine re-planting it, just squirt it off best you can to get most of them off. You're lucky - you've caught it early! Goodluck!

Goodluck!
