Grackles are driving my crazy!?
Question:Has anyone heard of those really obnoxious birds called grackels? I have some living in my trees and they're driving me insane cause they chew out anything that goes into the yard for hours. Does anyone know a good way to get rid of them?
Answers:
1. Scare balloons.
2. Netting over nesting sites such as trees.
3. Thinning trees to limit nesting sites.
4. Lights that come on while they are attempting to nest.
5.A pellet gun but only after checking with local law enforcement authorities
There really isn't a way that I'm aware of.. you just have to deal with them.. or buy a cat.. but being a bird lover myself. you can find them interesting if you just change your perspective.. Grackles may be a nuisance here but in other countries they may view them as interesting and exotic
