Info on shrooms?
Question:hey i went shroom hunting and found some all white skinny shrooms with no viel and dark blue spores the cap/head is a cone shape is it safe to eat?

Be very careful, I know you're thinking "Liberty Caps", but there are many look alikes. And allthough they won't kill you, they will give you new meaning to the term,"bowel movements"! Try to find a mentor who knows his shrooms next time you go into the woods. Remember there are old mushroom hunters and bold mushroom hunters but no old and bold mushroom hunters! RScott
There is a fellow in our community who went shroom hunting as a teen, cooked himself up a batch of shroom tea.
They looked like the right shrooms, but oops, ended up in the hospital, I think in a coma. He's a grown man now and every since that glass of shroom tea, he has not been right. He walks the streets talking to himself, and still lives at home because he doesn't have the capacity to care for himself.
Is it really worth it?????
