My rose bush leaves are all gone, and I don't have any flowers.?

Question:Do you know what could cause this. I live in Oklahoma and its been raining a lot in the last couple of months. Could this be the reason, or is it something else? And what can I do to fix this?

Answers:
Sounds like it could be black spot. It is a really common fungus that turns the leaves yellow with round black spots on them. they fall off really quickly, or if there was a heavy wind, I guess blow away. Black spot will not kill your rose, but it will defoliate it and if severe enough, damage any blooms. try a product by Bayer - 2 in 1 systematic rose care. Also, when wattering the plant, try not to splash any water on the leaves, as this can accelerate formation of black spot. If it rains you have no choice. Good luck.

Explain "gone". Do you mean eaten, dried up, blown away, or diseased, or was the plant waterlogged? The leaves will give a clue as to what is wrong, more details will help us to help you.
