My Mother's 18 ft Olive tree is dying of "wilt". I need to find a mature replacement to purchase for her.
Question:She lives in Southern CA (the San Fernando Valley), and I hear that some Olive trees may be for sale in the Bakersfield area. I need to know if the trees are delivered and the approx. cost. (Some are as much as 4500.00 ??)

Before purchasing a new olive tree, check the reason for the wilting. You may be wasting your money if the wilt cause is not removed as it will attack the new tree. Normally an olive tree lives for centuries (2000 years old are not rare in the Mediterranean).
