If annual plants die each year, how do you get a new crop?

Question:

Answers:
Some annuals re-seed themselves (rose moss, touch-me-nots, celosia, etc.) and will grow back from year to year. Coleus can be re-propigated by cuttings rooted in water. There are other plants that are listed as annuals that are actually perennials and will come back every spring from original plant...verbena, salvia and dianthus are some main ones. Some pansies do occasionally ( they LIKE colder weather). A lot of it depends on what temp. zone you live in too. In warmer climates, some annuals will live year round. Check with your local nursery...they might be able to list more for you.

PLANT NEW ONES
You have to start them from seed about 6-8 weeks before you want to plant them outdoors.
Or you can go to a nursery (or Walmart) and get the ones that are already growing. They usually come in a four pack or six pack of little plants.
Nan's right.. you start them from seed.
from the seeds you can gather them and plant them or let the plant go to seed and seed itself . .
