I have fruits tree's in the backyard and the birds ate all my cherries and apples?


Question:i have fruits tree's in the backyard and the birds ate all my cherries and apples . i am not sure what to do can anyone please tell me how can i safe my tree's from the unwanted guests?

Most stores like Lowe's or Home Depot sell the netting that keep the birds away. However if you have a really big tree or don't go that route the old timers use to hang aluminum pie plates in the branches of the trees to scare the birds away. Or a plastic owl or other predator to keep the varmits away. LOL

When I was younger my Grandfather used to take aluminum pie pans. tie string on them and hang them from the branches.
Yes it looked stupid, but the bright light and noise it made kept them away from his apples.
