Is it to late?

Question:Is it to late to sow swede, parsnip, beetroots etc by seed.I live in oxfordshire UK

Answers:
no, it should be ok, cos i've not sewn mine yet. if you sew them now they should do well enough to produce for the winter crop you would be expecting, and beetroots..you can still do them for a few months. last year i was still sewing beets in august, and they did ok..good luck.

never its too late
its never too late
get a covered see through pot and put it on window sill

come christmas you can have some lovely veg
it might be worth sowing swede but parsnips need a longer growing period and beetroot will not mature to any size but you may get young baby beet if the autumn is mild.
Ihave just sewn beetroot 15/06/07 and i`m expecting some very tasty baby beet in aa couple of months, the other two i`m not sure about
