What do you charge for watering a lawn for 4 hrs, every other day for 8 weeks? Must be there to water. Txks.
Question:The job is also mowing, trimming once a week and pulling weeds (in gardens) once a week. The watering will take about 4-6 hours either every other day or every third day. We live about 15 minutes away. Charging for $40.00 to mow lawn/each time and $10.00 for weeding each time.

For something like this I would charge a flat rate since there are known times and services envloved. As to what you would charge that depends on your area. I would research other local land scapers fee's for similar services and go from there. You fee's already seem a bit low to me but it may be good for where you live. My brother has a landscaping business in Savannah Georgia and he charges way more than you do. But it may be due to the location, Savannah has a high cost of living compared to where I live.

minimum wage is 5.15 per hour . . so to sit and watch a water sprinkler that's what I would charge . . I'm sure they could find some one with out a ss# to do it cheaper . .
