How do I get rid of green worms eating the leaves of my collard greens?

Question:I live in Michigan, zone 5.

Answers:
These are the cabbage looper worms. The come from the cute little white moths flying around your yard. Use dipel (active ingredient bacillus thurengiensis) or Bonide vegetable spray (active ingredient Neem oil). These are organic insecticides that we use. Be sure to spray the undersides of the leaves and re-apply after watering or rain.

please dont use pesticides or sprays! im an all organic! use pray mantises or ladybugs or something
Those are cabbage worms. Use dipel dust in the evening, it is organic. The active ingredient is BT, so it doesnt have to be Dipel dust, you can use BT spray, You need to reapply regularly because it breaks down fast. Do you see a lot of white moths flying around them. Those are the parents.
Diatomaceous Earth . it's made from crushed seashells and totally organic and kills lots of different bugs that may crawl up and/or eat your plants ..it won't harm your plants or pets

you just sprinkle it on according to the directions
