Need help with flower...?

Question:I have a celosia flower. I have it in a pot. Had it about a week, and now the flowers are dead. My question is do I cut them down for new ones to grow or leave them be to come back alive..lol

Answers:
This year's batch of Celosia seems to be a very weak strain of hybrid. All but the red are dieing at about a 100%rate. It is probably too late to find a new batch of Celosia, but if you can find some red, it will probably live. Red was the original colour before hibriding made all sorts of other colours. The hybrids seem to have a bad gene.

Cut them. It's called "deadheading". This will cause the plant to get bushier and get more flowers.
