How long after you sprinkle grass seed does it grow?

Question:

Answers:
It really depends upon the type of grass seed you sow. Here is a link that charts the germination period for different grass types. I hope your grass seed is included in this list.

Once you water your seed bed, keep it moist. Letting the seeds dry out once they have been wet can kill them!

it depends on what kind of seed you use...some grass seeds grow faster than others...it also depends on where you live and the local bird population in the area. Birds WILL eat grass seed. Most germination though takes at least a few days to a week... two weeks max. Water amount is a contributing factor too...if not watered, it will take longer. If it's not there in that time frame...re-seed because it either washed away or it was eaten.
if kept moist... three to four days and u'll start to see new growth!
