Do i need to support okra with stakes, like tomatoes?
Question:my first time with okra
Answers:
No you don't need to stake the okra because they grow long and hardy so they don't tip over or get bushy so your good to go. Have fun.
No they can just run the ground.
no its like squash and cucumbers just let it be no support needed.
no...they grow like corn...or in some cases...trees.
No, okra don't need stakes. Greens beans do smiles.
u can cut the stake in small portions, then try to fry a lot s of chopped onion then try to fry the steak not to much, then add spices, like , Turmeric, Paprika, Curry Powder, dried chopped Rosemary, papers.
add all of these spices like the size of half a teaspoon. then
add water till not all the way up till u can see the meat.
to much juice (water) is not good.
cover the pot if u pot has hole on top then it is OK if not put the top of your pot like an angle like to let the steam come out.
try to cook it with low heat. and don't forget garlic too, and i always add 2 big table spoon size of lemon juice, with black pepper also.
do not put the okra in it just yet cause it will get smooched.
while the stake or any other meat is cooking try to add tomatoes either fresh ones or the souse, mean while some people add big size chopped potatoes 2 like 2 big PCs or 3 small size potato.
try
to test the meat how much is cooked.
if the meat is half cooked then add the okras do not cut them
put them in hole.
again cover u pot.
then start to cook u (pilaf) rise, if u like rise.
try to ck u pot and stir it once a while not to much cause the okras will brake and the stew will look in not so good style.
when everything is cooked and ready then serve it with rice.
enjoy it.
by the way u can use chicken instead of meat what ever u or u family prefers.
yum yum now i a m hungry.
